My interest in art was piqued while I was a very young child, sitting and watching my father create his artworks - mostly the Australian landscape. My heritage is Cherokee/Irish and while I love the many facets of cultural style creativity, my passion and art love has morphed over time to more of an impressionist style.
With more than thirty-five years' experience as an artist I have been inspired by many sources including: the decorative arts movement, nature, cultural heritage and impressionism. My art is a celebration of eclectic creativity and expression, and whether it’s a vibrant abstract piece or a serene landscape, every artwork tells a unique story that resonates on a personal level.
I am proficient in a variety of mediums including oils, watercolour, acrylic and mixed media. My true medium love is acrylic, and I always use the most excellent archival quality acrylic paint and mediums in all my artworks to ensure vibrant colors, lasting durability that truly brings my creative vision to life.
My art has been exhibited and sold in many Sydney cafes and art exhibitions. My Trompe Loell and other artworks have been featured in Hospital wards in Sydney and Hobart, as well as the Decorative Artist magazine, and have garnered appreciation from art enthusiasts and collectors alike. I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression, and continually evolve and experiment with new techniques and styles.
All my artworks are signed (the year is hidden within the painting) and come with a certificate of authenticity. |
