Hi, I'm Jeffreya successful local artist with a deep passion for art that traces back to my high school days in the 1990s. My journey as a dedicated artist truly began in 2010 when my dad gifted me a set of art supplies for Christmas. That moment marked the start of my artistic career, and I've been on a creative path ever since.
As an illustrator specializing in object studies and still life, my technique is a blend of 50% stippling and 50% other methods. While my work is often described as realistic, I resonate more with Bob Cornelis's perspective that "all art is abstract," so I don’t strictly identify with realism.
I primarily work with fine felt tip pens, a medium that allows me to explore intricate details and create depth in my pieces. Each year, I sell my works to members of the community, I was a proud member of the Gawler Community Gallery for many years. Since 2022, I’ve also been a member of the Adelaide Art Society.
My art has been recognized with several awards, including a first prize at the Royal Adelaide Show. As a commissioned artist, I continue to engage with clients and enthusiasts, contributing to the local art scene and beyond. |
