ARTIST NOTES: In the gentle brushstrokes of my canvas, I seek to capture the ephemeral essence of innocence, a fleeting moment forever held in the soft gaze of a child. My work is a tender whisper, a serenade to the purity and wonder that dance in the heart of a sweet little girl, adorned in her felt hat and leather coat. Her blond hair cascades like golden threads, each strand a story, each glance a universe of unspoken dreams. As I paint, I journey into the delicate realm where imagination and reality entwine, where the world is seen through eyes untainted by the weight of time. My palette is imbued with hues of nostalgia and joy, seeking to evoke the quiet elegance of childhood—the profound simplicity of a moment when looking down is not an act of shyness but a communion with the earth beneath her feet. Through my art, I invite you to wander into this sanctuary of innocence, to feel the gentle embrace of a world where wonder reigns supreme. Here, in the quietude of her gaze, may you find a reflection of your own forgotten dreams, and perhaps, a piece of the child that resides within us all.

ARTIST BIO

I'm Julie, an artist living on the beautiful Gold Coast. My art journey is all about capturing the essence of everyday moments and the wonders of nature that surround us. I find inspiration in the little things – from the way sunlight filters through leaves to the calming rhythm of the ocean waves.

Every painting I create is a piece of my soul and heart laid bare. I don’t plan too much; I just paint what moves me on that particular day. It’s a very personal process, and I paint primarily for myself, but knowing that my work has found homes around the world is a feeling like no other.

I love that my pieces resonate with others and bring a touch of the Gold Coast’s beauty and my own perspective into their lives. So, welcome to my world – I hope you find a bit of your own story in my art.
