Biography

Susan Penfold is an award winning pastel artist from Aldgate in South  Australia. Susan loves the vibrancy and tactile nature  of pastels. She  has won a number of awards including the non-professional’s award at Plein Air Down Under 2023,  the  Jetty Art Award 2020 and three firsts and a second at the 2024 Mt Barker Show and a second and a third  in portraiture at the  Adelaide Royal Show  in 2025 and 2024 respectively.
