Simon McIntyre is a South Australian artist whose landscape paintings are shaped by his connection to the coast. Working in a combination of en plein air studies and the studio, he captures the shifting light, atmosphere, and movement of the Fleurieu Peninsula shorelines. Returning to the same spots over multiple sessions, he builds layered studies that evolve into studio works reflecting not just the scene, but his personal experience of it. His art
