Biography

Rubayat Sarwar is a Bangladeshi-born artist based in Adelaide, whose love for painting flows alongside her academic research in behavioral economics. Working across watercolor, acrylics, oils, and pencil, Rubayat’s work often explores light and shade—reflecting her personal philosophy that contrast assures us there is always hope; even amid distress. Rubayat also teaches art in a multi-cultural community school.
