Biography

Each painting is a journey, starting with scenes that inspire me to record their light and mood, traversing my own inner workings and psyche as I mix the colours and apply brush strokes until the painting emerges. I strive to achieve a painterly style with visible brush strokes, expansive colour and a sense of place and light.
