Artist Statement — Gill Higgins
Painting has always been my passion — a natural extension of my love for the ocean, the forests, and the vibrant tapestry of Australia’s flora and fauna. I predominantly work in mixed media: acrylics, watercolours, and inks. As a colourist, I find deep joy in the language of colour — its power to project emotion, capture light, and breathe life into imagination.
