Biography

After retiring to Middleton with his wife Annie in 2025, David decided to get serious about his art.
The beautiful coastline & country side of the Fleurieu have been the subject of many of his paintings & recently his artistic endeavours have taken a nostalgic turn. He loves finding old black & white 1960’s  surfing photos & bringing them to life.
David works from his home studio in both oil & acrylic & describes his style as “relaxed realism realism”
